Unlocking Contact Information

How to unlock email and phone numbers for decision-makers.

When you find a decision-maker you want to contact, you can unlock their email and phone number using credits.

Credit Costs

Contact TypeCost
Email1 credit
Phone10 credits

You can unlock email only, phone only, or both. Each is charged separately.

How to Unlock

Step 1: Find the Person

Navigate to the People or All Employees tab in the Company Drawer and find the person you want to contact.

Step 2: Open Person Modal

Click on the person's name to open the Person Modal.

Step 3: Click Unlock

In the modal:

  • Click Get next to Email to unlock email (1 credit)
  • Click Get next to Phone to unlock phone (10 credits)

Step 4: View Contact Info

After unlocking:

  • The email or phone number is displayed
  • Click to open mail client or dial
  • Information is saved permanently

What You Get

Email

  • Full email address
  • Clickable mailto: link
  • Source and confidence indicator

Phone

  • Phone number with area code
  • Clickable tel: link
  • Source and confidence indicator

Permanent Access

Once you unlock a contact:

  • No recurring cost — access forever
  • Syncs everywhere — visible across all views
  • Re-export free — include in exports at no additional cost

Insufficient Credits

If you don't have enough credits:

  • The button shows "Insufficient Credits"
  • Click leads to the billing page
  • Purchase more credits to continue

Bulk Unlocking

Currently, contacts must be unlocked individually through the Person Modal. Each unlock is a deliberate action.

For bulk contact needs, consider exporting facilities first (which unlocks them at 1 credit each), then unlocking contacts for priority facilities.

Best Practices

Qualify First

Before unlocking:

  • Verify the person's title matches your target
  • Check their LinkedIn profile for context
  • Confirm they work at the right facility

Start with Email

Email (1 credit) is much cheaper than phone (10 credits). Start with email outreach, unlock phone for warm leads.

Track Unlocks

Use tags or notes to track which contacts you've unlocked and the result of your outreach.

Budget Credits

Monitor your credit balance. Plan your unlocking strategy based on available credits.

Troubleshooting

Email/Phone Shows as Locked

If a contact appears locked but you unlocked it:

  • Refresh the page
  • Check your connection
  • Verify you have the right account

Contact Info Seems Wrong

Contact data comes from various sources and may occasionally be outdated. If info doesn't work:

  • Try alternative contacts at the same facility
  • Use LinkedIn to verify current role
  • Note the issue for your records
